We sell a listing on a public web page. Paying for a time zone entitles you to have your name, domain, logo and tagline displayed in association with that time zone on this site, for as long as you remain the highest payer for it.
You are not buying the time zone, the place, the name, or any right in them. You are not buying advertising inventory, a minimum duration, a minimum number of impressions or clicks, or any position in any search engine.
All payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
All sales are final and payments are non-refundable. In particular, no refund arises from: another person subsequently paying more and taking the zone, however soon; the volume of traffic, clicks or other results you receive; a change of mind; an error you made in your own listing details, which you may correct yourself at any time using the edit link we provide; or removal of your listing under section 5.
The one exception is a duplicate or failed transaction on our side — including the case where two payments for the same zone confirm within moments of each other and yours is recorded as outbid. We refund those.
A zone is held by whoever most recently paid the required price for it. That price is determined by us, calculated server-side at the moment of purchase, and displayed to you before payment. Any person may take any zone at any time by paying the then-current price. Ownership transfers only when Stripe confirms the payment.
We may change pricing rules at any time. Changes apply to future purchases only.
You are responsible for what you submit, and you confirm you have the right to use the name, domain, logo and tagline you provide. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display them on this site, including in the permanent public record of past claims described in section 6.
We may remove any listing, without notice and without refund, if in our reasonable judgement it is unlawful, deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, impersonates another party, distributes malware, or otherwise breaches the Rules.
Each claim is recorded permanently and publicly: the zone, the listing details, the amount paid and the date. This record is part of what the service is, and it remains after you no longer hold the zone. We do not publish your email address.
The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will continue to exist. We may modify or discontinue it. If we discontinue it entirely, no refund of past payments arises.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits, revenue or goodwill.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you deal with us as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
We may update these terms. The version published here at the time of your purchase is the version that governs it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, United States, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
